How to extend exit re-entry visa for dependents?

Extending Exit Re-Entry Visa for Family Dependents Outside KSA

If your family dependents are currently outside Saudi Arabia, you have the option to extend their exit re-entry visa conveniently through Absher. Below is a detailed procedure outlining the necessary steps.

  • Valid Iqama with more than 90 days remaining.
  • Exit re-entry visa not expiring more than 7 months from the current date.
  • Payment of Exit Re-entry Visa extension fee.
  • The dependent must be outside Saudi Arabia.

If the Iqama validity is less than 90 days and you try to extend an exit re-entry visa for an employee, it gives the following message. It means you need to renew your Iqama first.

  • Unfortunately, there is no provision to extend a Saudi exit re-entry visa for family members who are already inside the country.
  • Should you need to cancel the exit re-entry visa and issue a new one, remember that failure to utilize the existing visa before its expiration may result in a penalty of SR 1,000.
