During my online job search for a teaching position in the Middle East, I submitted my resume and applied on several employers’ websites and responded to many postings by employment agencies. Many recruiters post jobs and collect CVs and even make job offers only to tell the job seekers that the hiring process will take an unspecified amount of time.
