Ejar Contract Cancellation Procedure
If you’ve accepted an Ejar contract online in KSA and need to cancel it before its completion, follow these steps:
Determining Cancellation Need
- Cancel the contract through the Ejar website only if you’re leaving the house before the contract term ends.
- No need to follow this process if you’re completing your contract or if there’s no notice period required at the contract’s end.
Canceling Ejar Contract Online
Registration and Login
- Register with the Ejar website.
- Log in to your account: Ejar Login Link.
Accessing Contracts
- Navigate to the “Contracts” tab.
- Select “View all Contracts” to see active contracts.
Terminating Contract
- Click on the three dots next to the contract you wish to terminate.
- Choose “View Contract” from the dropdown menu.
- Select “Terminate Contract” to proceed with cancellation.
Completion Steps
- Continue through the subsequent pages to complete the termination process.
- Provide a suitable reason for termination and specify the effective date of vacation.
- Add any necessary supporting details.
Financial Settlement
- Review the financial settlement details provided by the system.
- Note the amount required for early contract termination.
Early Termination Penalty
- According to the Ejar contract terms, full house rent payment may be required until the contract’s original end date upon early cancellation.
- Negotiate with the landlord to waive the financial compensation or find a new tenant to transfer the contract and avoid penalties.
- Ensure the property is returned in its original condition at termination or contract expiry.
