Check before opening Absher
- Make sure your Absher account and identity or Iqama details are active and accurate.
- Confirm that you meet the stated minimum age for the licence service. Absher lists 18 for the driving-licence issuance journey.
- Check that you can attend the region and school you plan to choose.
- Have your calendar ready and allow for later training and tests, not only the first visit.
- Read any current medical-examination or payment requirement displayed by Absher. Its service card lists an examination through certified medical centres and payment through government banking channels among the requirements.
Book the school appointment
- Sign in to Absher: official service portal. Do not share your login code with an agent or school representative.
- Open My Services, choose Traffic, then open Issue Driving License.
- Read the live service description and requirements, then choose the option to go to the service.
- Select an available authorised driving school and appointment. If the screen asks you to describe existing driving skill or choose a training category, answer accurately; the wording and available routes in your account take priority over screenshots in older guides.
- Check the school, branch, region, date, time and service type before confirming.
- Save the confirmation and recheck it in Absher before travelling in case the school or time changes.
Prepare for the first visit
Use the document list shown in the live appointment and any message sent by the selected school. At minimum, be ready to prove the identity linked to the booking and show the appointment confirmation. Do not rely on a generic checklist if the school requests something different through its official channel.
Plan to arrive at the stated reporting time. The school may need to verify your record and place you into its current assessment or training workflow. Ask what you must complete next, how course access is provided, how attendance is recorded and where future appointments will appear. Keep receipts and confirmations tied to the same identity number used for the booking.
After the appointment
Follow the authorised school’s sequence for training and required tests. Absher’s service description says that licence issuance follows successful completion of the necessary training and tests and fulfilment of the other requirements. A school appointment does not guarantee a particular course length, test date, result or licence-issue date.
Use only the amount and payment reference currently generated by the official service or banking channel. Do not transfer money to an individual who promises an earlier slot, exemption or pass. If no appointment is available, check again through Absher or ask the selected school or Traffic department about the official next step; absence of a slot is not permission to use an unrelated appointment type.
