Step-by-Step Guide

1. Report to the Police:

  • Visit the nearest police station.
  • Report the loss or theft of your passport.
  • Obtain a police report for the lost passport.

2. Visit the Embassy:

  • Head to your embassy or consulate to apply for a new passport.
  • Required Documents:
  • Police Report (obtained earlier).
  • Jawazat printout of Iqama details.
  • Copy of the lost passport.
  • National identity card.
  • Copy of Iqama.
  • Fee for the new passport.

Requirements for Specific Countries:

For Indian Citizens:

  • Fill out an application on the embassy’s website.
  • Annexure F- Affidavit for a passport in lieu of the lost passport.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs.
  • Photocopy of the lost passport.
  • SR 564 fee.

For Pakistani Citizens:

  • Copy of the lost passport.
  • National identity card.
  • Copy of Iqama.
  • Fee: SR 168 for 5 years,
  • SR 303 for 10 years passport.
