Procedure for Obtaining a Driving License in Saudi Arabia
1. Saudi Driving License Fee
- The fee structure for a new driving license in Saudi Arabia is as follows:
- SR 80 for a 2-year license.
- SR 200 for a 5-year license.
- SR 400 for a 10-year license.
2. How to Pay for Saudi Driving License Renewal? SNB Bank:
- Download the application from PlayStore or iTunes.
- Log in to your internet banking account.
- Click on the “Menu” button and select “SADAD”.
- Choose “Government Payments”.
- Specify Biller: Driving License, and Service: Issue License.
- Select “Unregistered”, and choose License Type and Duration (2, 5, or 10 years).
- If settings are correct, proceed to payment.
Al Rajhi Bank:
- Download the application from PlayStore or iTunes.
- Log in to your internet banking account.
- Select “Payments” and click the “Government Payment” button.
- Specify Services: Driving License, and Application Type: Issue License.
- Provide Transaction Type, Beneficiary ID (Iqama Number), License Type, and Duration (2, 5, or 10 years).
- Confirm settings and proceed with payment.
3. Dallah Driving School Fee
- Dallah Driving School fee: SR 575.
- Computer test fee at Saudi Driving School: SR 115.
- Total Fee: SR 690.
4. Available Funds on Iqama
- After payment, verify available funds on Absher.
- Once funds reflect on Absher, proceed to apply for a Saudi Driving License.
Note:
- Women applicants may need to follow a slightly different procedure to obtain a Saudi driving license.
