Muroor is the Saudi General Traffic Department. Many driving and vehicle tasks can be completed online, but Absher also provides appointments for services that need an office visit. Check the online service first, then book the exact Traffic appointment shown in your account and take the documents listed in the confirmation.
Check whether you need an appointment
Do not book a Muroor visit merely because your task concerns a car or driving licence. Absher offers online services for matters such as licence renewal, vehicle-registration renewal and some replacements or reports. Completing the relevant online service may either finish the task or tell you that an office appointment is required.
An appointment is appropriate when the live Absher service directs you to attend, when the service itself is listed under Traffic appointments, or when official support says your case requires in-person handling. A Jawazat appointment is different: Jawazat is the General Directorate of Passports and deals with passport and residency matters rather than ordinary traffic transactions.
Get ready before signing in
- Use your own active Absher Individuals account and the mobile number registered to it.
- Identify the exact transaction, not just a broad description such as “vehicle problem”.
- Have the relevant driving licence, vehicle registration, plate, accident or report details available.
- Check that your name, Iqama and vehicle data are correct in Absher.
- Complete any prerequisite online application, payment, inspection or insurance step shown by the relevant service.
Never share your Absher password or one-time code with an agent. A legitimate helper can explain the screen, but should not take control of your identity.
Book the Traffic appointment
- Go to the official Absher website or open the official app, choose Individuals and sign in.
- Open the appointments area and select Traffic. If the layout differs, use the service search or Absher's live guide rather than following an old screenshot.
- Choose the option to book a new appointment.
- Select the service that most closely and accurately matches your transaction. The official guide includes Traffic appointments for several in-person processes, but the available list in your account is the authoritative one.
- Select the region, branch and an available date and time.
- Review the branch location, service, prerequisites and required documents before confirming.
- Save the appointment confirmation on your phone and, if practical, keep a printed copy.
Only reserve one suitable slot. Availability changes as appointments are booked or released, and UK2KSA cannot secure an earlier slot.
Prepare for the visit
Follow the document list attached to your confirmation. Depending on the service, this could include your original Iqama, driving licence, vehicle registration, official forms, inspection result, insurance record, police or accident report, authorisation from the vehicle owner, or evidence that a required payment was completed. Do not assume every item applies to every appointment.
Check the branch on a map before travelling because large cities have several Traffic offices. Arrive with enough time for security and check-in, but rely on any timing instruction in the appointment rather than a third-party rule. Bring a trusted Arabic-speaking colleague or an independent translator if you cannot understand the transaction, especially where you may be asked to sign a declaration.
Change or cancel a booking
Return to the Traffic appointments area in Absher and open your existing booking. Use the live edit, update or cancellation option presented. If no suitable replacement is available, consider whether to keep the current appointment until you have confirmed an alternative. Cancel a slot you will not use so it can return to the system.
Troubleshooting
- No Traffic option: confirm that you are in Absher Individuals and that your account is active.
- Service not listed: search Absher for a fully online route or ask official support which category applies.
- No appointments: check again later or consider another branch if the transaction permits it; do not select an unrelated service.
- Vehicle missing or details wrong: resolve the record issue before booking a transaction that depends on that vehicle.
- Confirmation will not load: take a screenshot of the error and contact Absher support through the official portal.
When to get help
Use Absher support for access, booking or technical errors. Ask the General Traffic Department if the correct service is unclear or your case cannot be completed online. Seek qualified legal help where ownership, liability, an accident or an enforcement action is disputed. UK2KSA is independent and cannot change records, waive requirements or guarantee that a branch will complete the transaction.
