How to view and print a resident (Muqeem) report through Absher

Guide summary: Absher currently lists a Muqeem Print service that lets an eligible account holder issue and print a resident’s basic information electronically. The route is through an authenticated Absher account, not the public Muqeem visa-validity checker. Treat the output as a time-limited supplementary report: Absher states that it is not an official document proving a resident’s identity. Check what the receiving organisation actually requires before paying for or presenting it.

Choose the right record

“Muqeem print”, “resident report” and “Muqeem report” are often used loosely. They do not describe one universal certificate accepted for every visa, bank, employer or government process. The available output depends on the service, the authenticated account and the resident record that account is authorised to access.

  • Resident basic-information report: use the Muqeem Print or Muqeem Report service listed in Absher when the required person appears in the account.
  • Digital Iqama: this is a digital identity document shown in the appropriate official application. Do not call a resident report a replacement Iqama.
  • Visa status: use the relevant official visa inquiry or visa service. A basic resident report is not automatically proof that a particular exit/re-entry or visit permission is valid.
  • Employer or establishment record: Absher Business separately lists My Business Services > Request Muqeem Print for company and establishment owners. An employee who cannot see the required record in Absher Individuals may need the authorised employer account holder to use that route.

Before opening the service

  1. Ask the receiving organisation for the exact document or data it requires, how recent it must be and whether it accepts an electronically generated Absher report.
  2. Use the Absher account that is legitimately linked to the resident or worker record. Do not use another person’s credentials.
  3. Have the resident’s correct Iqama details available and compare them with the official identity record before making a request.
  4. Be ready to use the payment method offered by the live service. Absher’s public service page displays a service charge, but the amount and any payment reference shown in the authenticated transaction should control. Do not rely on old screenshots or third-party fee figures.

View the report through Absher Individuals

The current public Absher service instructions give this account route:

  1. Go to the official Absher: official service portal or official app and sign in securely.
  2. Select My Services.
  3. Choose Passport Services.
  4. Select Muqeem Report. The public service card may label the overall service Muqeem Print; follow the live wording in your account.
  5. Enter or select the required resident details. Stop if the name, Iqama number or relationship is wrong.
  6. Review the live charge and transaction information, then complete the official payment step only if the correct report is available.
  7. Open View Muqeem Report when the request is complete.

If your account instead presents an Absher Reports area or a previous-requests screen, use the live menu to locate the completed report. Interface labels can change, but do not leave Absher or follow a payment link sent by an unknown party.

Print or save the displayed record

First review every field on screen. Use the report’s own download or print control if one is provided. Otherwise, use the browser’s print function and select a trusted printer or Save as PDF. Check that the generated file contains all pages, the report reference or verification data, and readable dates before closing the session.

Store the file as sensitive personal information. Send it only through the channel specified by the legitimate receiving organisation, redact it only if that organisation permits redaction, and delete unnecessary shared copies. A screenshot that cuts off the report reference or status may be rejected.

Limits and validity

Absher’s guidance describes this as basic resident information and expressly says the report is supplementary rather than proof of identity. The official Absher Reports guidance also treats generated reports as valid for a limited period, so create a fresh report when the receiving organisation requires one rather than assuming an old copy remains acceptable. Acceptance is the receiving organisation’s decision.

If a detail is wrong, printing it again will not correct the source record. Ask the responsible authority or authorised employer to update the underlying record, then request a new report after the change has appeared.

When to get help

Contact Absher through the support details on the official platform if the Muqeem service is missing, payment completes without a viewable report or the report cannot be opened. If the person is an establishment employee and does not appear in the individual account, ask the employer’s authorised Absher Business administrator whether Request Muqeem Print is the correct route. For a document requested by an embassy, bank or other authority, ask that organisation to confirm the exact report name before trying a different service.
